Ramblings

Well it's a bustling Saturday morning in lovely Chambersburg, PA. I'm
currently sitting in a comfy leather chair at the Big Oak Cafe. Missy
is getting her hair done right now, so while she is doing that I
figured it would be a good time to drink a latte and do some mobile
blogging. "What has been going on with me lately?", you might ask.

Work has been pretty stressful lately, but I'm coping as best as I
can. I just hope I don't lose all of the new management skills that I
picked up in class. I've been making due by having some 3rd party
techs from some outsourcing companies come in. Service for staff has
been adequate, but not up to the level that people are used to. They
then tend to get frustrated at IT, but it isn't us they should be
getting angry at. I cannot help it that I am the only network guy on
staff. Those left in the department have been wonderful, though. We
have been supporting each other really well. Even though PFCU can
really piss me off sometimes, I still have a strong attachment to the
place. I wouldn't be where I am right now without them. For that, I am
very greatful.

Speaking of great department members, check out Kim and her awesomely
decorated office. Yesterday was her 50th birthday celebration at work.
We had a cake delivered for her from Kathy. Doesn't she look excited?

Well I have to pick up Missy soon. There's a lot more I want to talk
about and will get to that soon. I want to dedicate some blogs to some
topics passionate to me such as technology and politics. I also want
to write about my beautiful fiancé. :) Stay tuned!

First Blog!

Hello there everyone! David here and I'm making my first blog post
from my iPhone. Today has been an "okay" day. There is nothing really
major to report. Coming back to work after being off for almost a week
is always tough, but a dude has to make money, right?

My plans for tonight include having dinner with my Fiance (wow, I'm
engaged!), going to the gym, and hopefully playing some Wii. Playing
all of one's video games could constitute a job! I have put a halt on
new game purchases until I at least finish Twilight Princess.

Well, that's all for now. I will try to write more as time goes along
as I get used to this new keyboard. Later!
